Floating boathouse

Hello Susan,
We are LOVING our Float House and are constantly impressed with how sturdy and attractive it is, blending into the landscape so nicely.
All of our neighbour's have commented on how they love it also! What a relief!
Most importantly it has expanded our outside space ten fold and we have both loved our time here this summer!

George,  When we purchased property in Muskoka and decided to build on it, we considered several designs and contractors for our boathouse. We choose Floathouse and wanted you to know we are glad we did. We love our Deckhouse are very pleased with the product. The design and  workmanship are top notch. It handles wakes with ease and all the elements of winter with no issues.

We are very happy with our new Floathouse dock.

George worked with us on the dock design and made sure we were advised of any new features that might add to the overall comfort and performance of our dock. Susan kept the communication flowing with email and drawings to be approved.

George and his staff delivered the dock and assembled it three days. The material used was good quality and the attention to detail was noted in every step of the construction.

Susan & George (aka Floathouse) asked me to drop you a quick line regarding the floating dock they built and installed for us.

Our cottage is on Catchacoma Lake, situated on the north side of a small bay at the south end of the lake.  I explain this because we are subject to both wave and wind action which are critical influences to the construction, positioning and installation of our floating dock.  There were three detailed quotes submitted; Floathouse was not the least expensive but had by far the best structural materials and a thorough understanding of the conditions affecting our lake system.  We were extremely satisfied with the quality of our dock, their workmanship and the timely fashion in which it was built and installed.  Having had it now for three summers and stored for two winters (in the lake) it’s still as if it were new - well built, its structural integrity has exceeded our expectations.  We’ve had several compliments on our floating dock in particular to its strength and durability; it’s solid.

We strongly recommend George and Floathouse and have recommended him to others on our lake, but his best reference is the dock itself; it speaks volumes!
